The Health Benefits of Kabuto’s Ingredients

So, we thought we’d share with you just how beneficial these ingredients are to your health and why there’s no need for artificial additives, unlike some of our fellow noodle makers.

It may sound scary, but it’s actually the naturally occurring green pigment found in plants (they use chlorophyll and light to make food). It’s loaded with antioxidant properties and vitamins such as vitamin A, C, E, K and is rich in vital minerals such as  magnesium, iron, potassium, calcium, and essential fatty acids. Experts say it is beneficial for various medical conditions such as maintaining hormonal balance and the detoxifying of the body and digestive health. They even say it has anti-aging effects and strengthens the immune system!


Found most commonly in Southeast Asia, turmeric is a plant that when dried and ground becomes a yellow spice often used in curries. According to experts, turmeric may be the most effective nutritional supplement ever! It has many benefits for your body and your brain including having a powerful anti-inflammatory effect and is a very strong antioxidant.



Originally from China and closely related to turmeric, ginger is a flowering plant that (as well as being super tasty) is also up there as being one of the healthiest spices. It has a long history of use as a sea sickness remedy and experts say there’s evidence that it may be as effective as prescription medication for nausea! Ginger is also known to reduce muscle pain and soreness and its anti-inflammatory effects can also help with the common health problem Osteoarthritis; a degeneration of the joints that can cause horrible joint pain and stiffness.

But here’s the crazy one… ginger contains a substance called gingerol that has anti-cancer properties, and studies show it may actually have proactive effects against cancer!


It’s hard to believe that not that long-ago coconuts had a bit of a bad reputation and were thought to be artery clogging and a cholesterol packed food that contributed to heart disease… But now thought of as a miracle food, coconut is actually highly nutritious and is rich in fibre, vitamins and essential minerals including iron, calcium and magnesium.
