Kabuto Noodles Ramen Burger

This summer we have teamed up with Lockdown Cuisine to create some noodle takes on some everyday classics!  

First up is the delicious, Asian inspired, Ramen Burger! Check out the recipe below and make sure you send us snaps of your attempt at this Burger/Noodle hybrid.

 

What you'll need

1 pot of Kabuto Noodles Chilli Chicken Ramen

200g of Beef Mince

1 Egg

3 Tbsp Oil

Ketchup

Kewpie Mayonnaise

For the Asian cucumber pickle:

1/4 Cucumber thinly sliced

3 Radish, thinly sliced

Juice of 1/2 a lime

2 Spring Onions, finely diced

1 Tbsp Mirin

1 Tbsp Soy Sauce

2 Tbsp Coriander

Preparation

Start by forming your beef mince into burgers and season with salt and pepper. Over medium heat add 2tbs oil to the pan. Add your burger and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.

To make your ramen buns firstly follow the instructions on the back of your pot of Kabuto Noodles Chilli Chicken Ramen. Once cooked, drain the broth, remove the noodles and place them into a bowl. Add your egg and mix through thoroughly.

Over low heat add 1tbs oil to your pan. Split your noodles in half and place them into ring moulds (large scone or cookie cutter also works). Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.

To make your Asian cucumber pickle, in a bowl add all your ingredients and stir well to ensure the cucumber is evenly covered. Cover and leave in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Time to build your ramen burger - to your ramen bun add kewpie mayonnaise followed by your burger, Asian cucumber pickle and top with ketchup.

 

Samurai Top Tip – By all means, if you prefer, substitute the beef for minced pork, turkey or chicken.
